Bodies of Hester Flemming and Cecilia Johanna Flemming, discovered in abandoned De Deur mine shaft
Hester Flemming, 52, and her mother, Cecilia Johanna Flemming, 82, lifeless bodies were found at an old mine shaft in De Deur on 28 October.
Hester and her mother went missing after a home invasion at a property in Kliprivier, south of Johannesburg, on 26 October.
The house was ransacked, and two vehicles were stolen. One of the vehicles was recovered. One suspect was arrested as he was found possessing some of the items stolen from the house. Several men were taken in for questioning.
