Police seek help in locating two-year-old boy abducted in Boipatong

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a two-year-old boy, Kutloano Shalaba, who was abducted in Boipatong on Wednesday, 13 November.

The incident occurred around 16:30 on Batloung Street, when three males driving a silver-grey vehicle approached the mother Keneiwe Shalaba (32) and asked if they can assist her with the child before one of the suspects grabbed Kutloano from her back. The suspects attempted to force both mother and child into the vehicle but managed to drive off with the young boy while the mother called for help.

The child had just been seen by a doctor and was wearing brown trousers, a white two-piece top, and black takkies at the time of the abduction.The incident has been reported to the police, and a case of kidnapping has been opened at the Boipatong police station. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the child or the suspects to come forward.
