Victor Hlungwani heeds the call for help, donates to Savanna City Football Club!

Savanna City Football Academy has finally received much-needed support! Former CAF & PSL referee Victor Hlungwani has stepped up, donating seven soccer balls and whistles to the academy.

His contribution aims to encourage community sports development and recognise the incredible efforts of Coach Cargo, who has kept the academy running without funding or assistance.

“As a community member and sports enthusiast, I saw the need to support Coach Cargo and his team. Their dedication to these young players shows true love for the game and our community,” said Hlungwani.

Parents are urged to recognise the vital role the academy plays and rally behind its mission. This team has already put Savanna City on the map-becoming the first and only team in Ward 11 to compete in the Sedibeng Regional SAB League (Senior Division) and representing the municipality at the U13 Champs of Champs. With this support, the club aims to reach even greater heights!
