New St Nazareth Church choir set to release debut EP!

The New St Nazareth Church Choir from Kanana, Sebokeng, is making waves in the gospel music scene with the upcoming release of their highly anticipated debut EP on 28 March.

Founded in 2022 by Dan Mnguni and fellow church members, the 31-member Postola choir has achieved remarkable success in a short time, including being crowned Best Postola Choir in 2023. Their powerful harmonies and heartfelt performances have made them a beloved name in the local gospel community.

Mnguni expressed his excitement about the EP launch, stating: “Our choir was founded with the vision of sharing the joy of music and promoting unity within our community. This project is a reflection of our journey, our faith and the love we pour into every song.”

Taking their music to an even larger audience, the choir will perform at Kopano ya Mapostola on 5 April at the Eldorado Art Centre, Zone 14, Sebokeng, an event hosted by KM Records.

“This show is important because it brings our community together, promoting unity and a sense of belonging. It’s a chance for us to share our music and message with a wider audience,” said Mnguni.

The choir’s journey started as a small group of passionate singers who gathered at church to worship through song. Over time, their shared love for music evolved into something bigger-a movement of faith, inspiration and unity. Their 2024 debut EP has already garnered attention, helping them gain new fans and solidify their place as one of the region’s most dynamic gospel choirs.
