Silverman crushes rival at Wild Coast Sun

South African junior middleweight contender Jarred Silverman delivered another statement performance this weekend at the Battle at the Coast hosted at Wild Coast Sun on the Fighters Club Promotions card, stopping his opponent in the 3rd round in emphatic fashion.

Following the victory, Silverman wasted no time securing his future, signing his next fight contract for July on the Aquilla Boxing Promotions bill headlined by Kevin Lerena.

His manager, Colleen McAusland, confirmed that discussions regarding Silverman’s next three fights have already taken place.

“We have discussed Jarred’s next three fights, and agreed to sign the fight for July on the Aquilla Boxing Promotions bill with Kevin Lerena,” said McAusland.

Silverman also reflected on the fight and raised concerns about the amount of punishment his opponent absorbed before the stoppage.

“I believe the fight should have been stopped earlier. My opponent took unnecessary punishment, and fighter safety must always come first,” said Silverman.

McAusland also praised promoter Terry-Ann and the continued opportunities provided through Fighters Club Promotions.

“Terry-Ann has been good to us and continues to give opportunities to talented fighters,” added McAusland.

The event also showcased another rising talent under McAusland’s management, with exciting prospect Ricardo Shaw producing a devastating first-round knockout victory in just 52 seconds.

Shaw’s explosive performance added even more excitement to an already successful night for the team, highlighting the growing talent emerging from their stable.
