Masiza Heights development to deliver 480 homes in Sebokeng

October 23, 2026

On 23 October, Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements Tasneem Motara and Emfuleni Local Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr Hassan Mako marked the start of the Masiza Heights (Inkanyeli) housing development in Sebokeng Extension 28, which is set to deliver 480 two- and three-bedroom homes.

The project aims to expand affordable homeownership opportunities in the Sedibeng region while creating a safe, modern and family-friendly residential environment.

Planned amenities include covered parking, recreational spaces, an outdoor gym and children’s play areas. The development will also offer convenient access to schools, healthcare facilities and commercial centres.

The project is intended to support integrated human settlements by combining housing with facilities and services that meet residents’ everyday needs.

The sod-turning ceremony marks a step towards bringing the development to life and creating opportunities for more families to become homeowners in Sebokeng and the wider Sedibeng region.
