Family, friends, political colleagues and members of the Sasolburg community will gather on Saturday, 7 November, to bid farewell to Democratic Alliance (DA) councillor Thulani Michael Mbana, who was fatally shot at his home in Zamdela last month.
Mbana was shot and killed on the evening of Monday, 26 October, at his residence in Zamdela. His funeral service is scheduled to take place at the Zamdela Community Hall, where mourners will gather between 08:00 and 10:00 to pay their final respects.
His death has left family members, friends and those who knew him preparing to say their final goodbyes as the community comes together to honour his memory. The funeral service on Saturday, will provide an opportunity for those who knew Mbana to remember his life and bid him farewell.
