Midvaal & Emfuleni darts select Sedibeng team for Gauteng trials

Over the weekend of 18 and 19 March, Midvaal and Emfuleni Darts teams faced off at the Inter District trials to select 6 men and 6 women to represent Sedibeng at the Gauteng trials taking place in May.

Zandro Steyn, Midvaal/Sedibeng Clubs president told Walkerville & Savanna City Times: “A lot of darts were played starting from 12 noon till 8pm, each player played a total of 45 legs. Four men from Midvaal and 2 from Emfuleni were selected while the six women to represent Sedibeng are all from Midvaal.”

The Gauteng trials will take place over 2 weekends, 6 and 7 May at Kingsway Brakpan and 13 and 14 May at Dinwiddie Sport Centre where the provincial teams will be announced.  The South African National Championships will take place from 26 – 30 July at The Wild Coast Sun, KZN,” said Darts SA Business Manager/PRO and Gauteng Darts General Secretary, Anna Marie.
