Debonia Park’s c4 LYRiC$ drops new EP “In The Making” ahead of upcoming album

Music lovers in the community have reason to celebrate as local artist and sound engineer c4 LYRiC$ (Ayanda Khotso Thayi) has released a new EP titled “In The Making.” This project serves as a teaser for his highly anticipated upcoming album, “EyesOnThePrize2,” set to drop in early 2025.

The EP, which is now available on all digital platforms, consists of five tracks that reflect the artist’s experiences and aspirations. “In The Making” was born out of a desire to connect with fans who have eagerly awaited new music after hearing various snippets of c4 LYRiC$’s work shared on social media from his home studio.

“I wanted to give my followers the music they’ve been craving. This EP is inspired by my daily life, including my work as a sound engineer on a local series produced by Penguin Film. It captures both the challenges and joys of life in the hood, where every day brings new stories and experiences,” he told Walkerville & Savanna City Times.

The EP features no guest artists, as c4 LYRiC$ aims to showcase his unique sound and artistic vision. He collaborated with two of Vaal’s finest producers, JoziBlxck and SounzGood, to explore new sonic territories that expand his musical repertoire.
