Meyerton stakeholders unite to empower youth and strengthen community safety
Meyerton SAPS Social Crime Prevention and the Meyerton SAPS Domestic Violence Coordinator, together with stakeholders including Midvaal Traffic, Deaf SA, FCS, Social Development Vereniging, Sedibeng Disaster Management, Department of Community Safety, Agape, Meyerton Crime Prevention Youth Desk, Community Safety Brigades, and Siyabangena with Angel of Mercy, held a meeting to plan upcoming events and programs aimed at supporting youth in Meyerton.
The initiative focuses on coming together to improve the lives of young people in our community. Angel of Mercy will be hosting a substance abuse awareness program, while Deaf SA will organize a Silence Walk, a march to raise awareness and promote respect and inclusion for the Deaf community.
Meyerton SAPS Station Commander, Senzangakona Christopher Mohale, welcomed the partnership, emphasizing that working together allows us to achieve more. “It’s everyone’s responsibility to build better communities,” he said.
