Midvaal unveils two newly developed parks in Sicelo and Kliprivier
Midvaal Local Municipality recently unveiled two newly developed parks in Sicelo and Kliprivier, marking another step in its commitment to enhancing community recreational spaces.
The Sicelo Park features children’s play equipment, outdoor gym facilities, a full combi court, fencing, and signboards. Similarly, the Kliprivier Park offers children’s play equipment, outdoor gym facilities, a half court, fencing, and signboards.The municipality also plans to further enhance both parks with irrigation systems, benches, grass, and tree planting, subject to budget availability.
Since the start of this term in 2021, Midvaal has developed at least 16 parks across the municipality, reinforcing its commitment to accessible and enjoyable public spaces.
This initiative forms part of the broader plan to improve community well-being, providing safe, engaging, and vibrant spaces for residents. Midvaal remains dedicated to continuing the development of new parks across all communities to enhance the quality of life for its residents.
