Midvaal and Nedbank open applications for five-day SMME training programme

Small businesses in Midvaal have an opportunity to strengthen their business skills through a five-day training programme being organised by Midvaal Local Municipality in collaboration with Nedbank.


The municipality announced that applications are open for the one-week SMME Training Programme, which is aimed at improving the capacity, skills and competitiveness of local Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises.
The programme will provide participating entrepreneurs with practical training covering financial management, customer service, marketing, human resource practices and business planning.
Participants will also receive guidance aimed at improving their ability to access procurement opportunities.

Midvaal MMC for Development and Planning, Cllr T.M. Maduna, featured in the municipality’s public notice announcing the programme.
Business owners interested in participating can apply using the QR code or application link contained in the municipality’s official notice.


Applicants have been advised that attendance for all five days is compulsory and that they should only apply if they are able to commit to the entire programme.


Applications close on 5 October 2026.
