MEC Maile hands over title deeds in Savanna City
Earlier today, the Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements and Infrastructure Development, Lebogang Maile officially handed over almost 300 title deeds to deserving beneficiaries in Savanna City Ext 4.
The ANC-led Gauteng Government has since 2015 issued more than 10 250 title deeds to deserving beneficiaries in Sedibeng District Municipality.
MEC Maile continues to implement the Gauteng Government’s plans to restore the dignity of the people of Gauteng through security of tenure.
MEC Maile was accompanied by the Sedibeng District Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr Lerato Maloka and MMC for Human Settlements in the Sedibeng District, Cllr Madisebo Khomoeasera.
The Department also rolled out beneficiary education to help the deserving beneficiaries protect their new asset and understand the responsibilities that come with home ownership.
