Man sought for Walkerville rape incident

SAPS has released an identikit of a person is sought in connection with an alleged rape incident which happened on 6 September.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda said: “The victim reports that she was walking to work along 07 Apple Orchards in Walkerville when she met an unknown man who showed her a pistol on his hip and took her to nearby bushes, where he allegedly raped her. It is said that the suspect vanished after telling the victim to walk without looking back. Anyone who might know the man is asked to contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer Constable Brummer on 073 079 1467.”
