Nedbank’s CSI initiative enhances Lakeside’s Ikusasa Bokamoso Daycare Centre

As part of its Corporate Social Investment, Nedbank recently allocated R69,710 to Ikusasa Bokamoso Daycare Centre in Lakeside to enhance the facility with various essential items, contributing to the well-being of the community.

The generous donation facilitated the procurement of several items for the Centre, including a jungle gym, gas stove, 9KG gas cylinder, door handles, as well as the installation of burglar bars and the construction of a steel shade/carport. These additions not only enhance the functionality of the Centre but also provide a safer and more conducive environment for the children under its care.

The culmination of this initiative was marked by an official handover ceremony held on Friday, 23rd February which saw the presence of Nedbank representatives, alongside esteemed guests such as the Midvaal Local Municipality’s Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira, among others.

This contribution by Nedbank aligns with the municipality’s overarching project dedicated to Early Childhood Development and daycare initiatives. Such partnerships play a pivotal role in addressing critical social needs and advancing collective efforts towards sustainable development.
