Sedibeng Water Police recovered a body in Sharpville

Members from Sedibeng Water Policing and Diving Services were deployed to a scene in Sharpville.

Members responded to the scene next to the R59 highway. The members had to make use of rescue equipment to recover the body from a cement water channel. The body of an unknown male was recovered and handed over to Sharpeville detectives.

The body was riddled with knife wounds. Investigations are ongoing. Anyone with further information can contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
