Crime crackdown: Operation Wanya Tsotsi executed in Evaton West
In a dedicated move to bolster the fight against crime, Faith Mazibuko, the Gauteng Community Safety MEC, spearheaded Operation Wanya Tsotsi in Evaton West, Sedibeng.
Under the guidance of Brigadier Sibuyi from Evaton SAPS, the MEC was briefed on prevalent crime concerns and problematic areas in the region.
The operation saw a collaborative effort involving the South African Police Service, Crime Prevention Wardens, @GTP_Traffstats, Community Policing Forums, GBVF Brigades, Safety Ambassadors and representatives from Home Affairs, SANCO, Emfuleni By-Laws and PRASA.
