Boipatong police drive home safety message in Jet Nteo Community Crime Awareness Campaign

In the Sedibeng District, SAPS Boipatong’s Social Prevention team, led by the Sector Commander and supported by Siyabangena Patrollers, launched a focused Crime Awareness campaign in the Jet Nteo area.

The campaign targeted the reduction of contact crimes within the community. As part of the effort, officers conducted door-to-door visits, engaging directly with residents to educate them on essential safety measures, crime prevention strategies and the vital role of community cooperation in combating crime.

The initiative also sought to strengthen ties between the police and the community, encouraging residents to report any criminal or suspicious activities and to take proactive steps to safeguard themselves and their neighbours.

Station Commander, Lt Col Phonoshe, highlighted that this campaign is a key part of the police’s ongoing mission to ensure safer communities.
