Midvaal hosts annual Christmas party for local children

The Executive Mayor of Midvaal, Alderman Peter Teixeira, together with Members of the Mayoral Committee (MMCs), brought festive cheer to children from Ward 15 by hosting the municipality’s annual Christmas Party.

The celebration was held at the Meyerton Swimming Pool, where children and their parents enjoyed a joyful day of swimming, fun activities, and community togetherness.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Maya Cypress Tree NGO and supported by the Midvaal Junior Council, whose involvement helped ensure a memorable experience for all families in attendance.

As part of the festivities, each child received a Christmas gift—adding a special touch of excitement to the day.

This annual initiative, championed by the Executive Mayor, aims to give back to the community while spreading joy, goodwill, and the spirit of the festive season.
