Sicelo Multi-Purpose Hall closes for refurbishment until June

Residents and community stakeholders in Sicelo have been informed that the Sicelo Multi-Purpose Hall will be temporarily closed from 16 March until 31 May to allow for essential refurbishment work.

Midvaal Local Municipality annonced on a statement that the temporary closure will allow contractors to carry out important upgrades aimed at improving the condition and functionality of the hall.

“The project is expected to take approximately 12 weeks, with the facility scheduled to reopen in June 2026. We apologize for any disruption this may cause to your scheduled activities and appreciate your patience as we work to improve the facility,” said the statement.

Residents and organisations that had planned to use the venue during this period are encouraged to make alternative arrangements while refurbishment work is underway.
