August 14, 2026

Meyerton SAPS Station Commander Colonel Senzangakona Christopher Mohale celebrated Women’s Month with female officers during a special breakfast at the station on 7 August .

The initiative, themed “Breakfast with Your Station Commander”, recognised women for their dedication and loyalty in the workplace and formed part of programmes aimed at motivating women in law enforcement.

Mohale highlighted the importance of supporting one another in the workplace.

“Working together and looking after each other is important, as we spend more time at work than at home,” Mohale said.

He wished the women good health and prosperity and encouraged them to continue working together towards a safer Gauteng.

The breakfast was sponsored by Meyerton Panarottis as a gesture of appreciation for the women in blue.

The programme also highlighted the role of women in law enforcement and the equal rights afforded to women and men in the workplace.
