“This initiative not only provides employment prospects but also stands to greatly benefit Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs), amplifying the local value chain and potentially uncovering new sectors for growth. The introduction of this new mall will markedly improve residents’ access to a diverse range of goods and services, thereby enhancing community amenities. This convenience eliminates the necessity for residents to travel to neighboring areas for their shopping needs, ushering in a new era of local accessibility and convenience,” said Midvaal’s Executive Mayor, Ald Peter Teixeira.

Moreover, the development of this retail hub is expected to contribute positively to property values whose growth can be attributed to the improved infrastructure and commercial expansion associated with the mall.

“Emphasizing our commitment to fostering opportunities for all, our administration pledges to maintain an investor-friendly environment. Upholding the highest standards of good governance, we continue to invest in robust infrastructure development, reinforcing Midvaal’s stature as the premier investment destination in Gauteng,” Teixeira concluded.
