DA Gauteng Premier candidate to engage Midvaal farmers on rural safety
Tomorrow, Saturday, 6 April, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng Premier candidate, Solly Msimanga MPL, and the Midvaal Mayor, Cllr Peter Teixeira, will engage the farmers on issues of rural safety at Zomerlust Country Estate in Meyerton.
The DA-led Midvaal Local Municipality has been at the forefront of addressing rural safety issues by assisting farmers with technological developments, farming competency, and safety.
The premier candidate will detail how the DA plans to protect rural farmers from violent assaults and intimidation while ensuring that farmers thrive in the Gauteng economy. Will also outline the DA’s commitment to work with farming communities and other accredited experts in the field within Gauteng to ensure that farmers are protected.
