Meyerton SAPS probe double death: Man found hanging, woman with head injury

Meyerton police have launched an investigation following the discovery of two deceased individuals inside a shack at S5125, Extension 5, Silahliwe, Sicelo, on the evening of Wednesday, 11 September.

At around 20:15, officers responded to a complaint of an alleged suicide. A community member led them to the premises, where the lifeless body of a male, identified only as Lucas (approximately 40), was found hanging from the roof.

In a nearby room, police discovered the body of a female, identified as Lebohang Ndaba (36), lying on her side with visible head injuries. She was reportedly partially undressed, and a blood-stained hammer was recovered near her body.

Neighbors reported that the pair were last seen on Sunday, 7 September. Emergency Medical Services declared both deceased on the scene, and the bodies were transported to Sebokeng FPS Mortuary.
