Road repairs underway in Golf Park

Repair works on Corrie Pypers Street in Golf Park officially got underway on 17 June, with MMC for Public Safety and Roads, Cllr Chantal Gomes, visiting the site to inspect progress.

The maintenance project forms part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure and ensure safer travel for motorists and residents. Work is expected to continue until 30 June.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes while repairs are in progress and to exercise caution in the area.

“We appreciate the community’s patience as we work to improve our roads and enhance service delivery,” said Gomes during the site visit.

The municipality has urged residents to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays during the maintenance period.
