After closing earlier this year in March due to low attendance, the Meyerton Chess Club is back and calling on chess enthusiasts to join in large numbers. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, the club offers a welcoming space to learn, compete, make friends, and enjoy the game.
The club meets every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the Meyerton Sports Club, located at 2 Jan Neethling Street, Meyerton. Entry fees are R20 for children under 13 and R30 for those over 13.
Organisers encourage residents of all ages to take part, sharpen their skills, and be part of a friendly and educational chess community. For more information, email Midvaalchessclub@gmail.com or contact Jc on 060 730 5203.
Don’t miss the chance to improve your game, connect with fellow chess lovers, and enjoy a fun evening out at the Meyerton Chess Club.
